September sees London Fashion Week take over the city as designers showcase their new collections, but in the midst of a pandemic, events are being creatively reworked into more socially distanced formats.
Departing from his usual catwalk shows, Paul Costelloe showcased his Spring/Summer collection for 2021 with a salon atelier at the Waldorf and physical presentation appointments.
Offering a chance to see the designer at work, the Palm Court was transformed into Paul's studio, where he would sit illustrating surrounded by supplies and pencil shavings, while models tried on different looks.
Describing his new designs as "the perfect collection fo fly a kite and dream" the line features Paul's signature tailored styles with fitted jackets, silk dresses and hooded layers.
Titled "Golden Reflections", the colours are soft and warm with subtle patterns accented with burnt ambers and Mediterranean blues.
Delicate dresses are accessorised with Dr Marten boots, metallic bags and summer hats from Philip Treacy.
Unsure if we'll be free to roam by spring, or in a second lockdown, this collection is stylish, beautiful and comfortable.
